Salmon Release 2020

At the start of April 2020 the salmon were released at Mosquito Creek by Mr. Cotter.

Last year we had a two-headed salmon that could barely swim. Only single heads in this year’s salmon class of 2020!

I am a PYP (Primary Years Program) Grade 2 teacher in the North Vancouver School District #44. I teach at Queen Mary Community Elementary, an IB World School. We are a school of a few hundred students with diverse needs and many different languages. My goals for my students are to help them learn, explore and strive to achieve their personal best. Our classroom is a community where we are setting goals and encouraged to reflect on our learning and our achievements. We are in the early part of our life long learning journey!
